This week NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian joined Minister for Western NSW Adam Marshall in the town to announce the funding for improvements to the existing pathway to the weir.
"It is critical we continue to ensure Nyngan has the facilities to ensure locals and visitors have access to the unique attractions the town has to offer," the Premier said.

Bogan Shire Mayor Ray Donald thanked Ms Berejiklian and Mr Marshall for "making this commitment and for ensuring our community can showcase itself to travellers".
