Owner of West Dubbo IGA Henry Jom will let her shop for free when the time is right.
Businesses rallied behind the makeover of the family's home which was completed by the Rotary Club of Dubbo South at the weekend.

"We worked really hard and we're really happy with the end result," Mrs Williams said.
"It's finished and perfect for them to come home to."
A driver of the project, Mrs Williams now reports of other businesses having stepped up to help the Rays or the volunteer workers.
She said Midwest Foods & Liquor had offered to fill the family's freezer while Inland Distributors had provided drinks for workers and a new television for the Rays.
On Saturday, Kevin Walkom dropped off a family gift basket at the working bee and later had the Westside Hotel deliver beverages for parched volunteers.
"They appreciated a cold beer or a wine at the at the end of the day, I can assure you," Mrs Williams said.
Mrs Williams said other donations still flowing in included $100 from the parents of builder Matt Lack, who helped at the home, for timers on taps and soaker hoses.
A woman had offered to hand over her "treasured" Christmas decorations, she said.
Mrs Williams said the makeover of the home included painting it inside and out and installing new curtains, carpet, furniture, light fittings and power points.
O'Brien Plumbing Dubbo has renovated the family's bathroom and separate toilet.
"The yard is all done and is beautiful," Mrs Williams said.
Garden beds at the Western Dubbo home have new soil and plants.
"We bought them a new barbecue, put down a pad for it and put up some storage," Mrs Williams said.
The mother and grandmother praised Dubbo for not hesitating in supporting the Rays.
"I am proud of everybody for everything that they have done," she said.
Erin and Jeremy Ray relocated their family to Sydney in early 2020 after eldest son Mitchell was diagnosed with cancer.
On the Mitchell Blasts Neuroblastoma Facebook page on Monday night, his mother informed family, friends and supporters of his deteriorating condition.
"CT today has shown that he is full of cancer," she wrote.
The family is planning to move to Bear Cottage at Manly, the only children's hospice in NSW.
They had hoped to be home in Dubbo for Christmas.
Friends of the family set up a gofundme page in February.
