Collin Lang, 37, of Gipps Street Dubbo, pleaded guilty to high-range PCA at Dubbo Local Court.
According to police facts, Lang was driving a silver Subaru west along Landswowne Drive about 3.20am on July 14, when he was stopped by police who performed a roadside breath test.

After returning a positive reading he was taken to Dubbo Police Station where breath analysis revealed an alcohol reading of 0.196.
Lang's defence told the court on Wednesday he "feels terrible" about the incident and "just wasn't thinking" on July 14, and was the one always telling his friends not to drink and drive.
Magistrate Gary Wilson told Mr Lang in court it was a "stupid decision" to drive and he was lucky no one was seriously injured.
"You were 0.196, that's a high reading, not many people beat that," Magistrate Wilson said.
"You must have known you were well affected.
"The risk you place yourself and other road users on the road in is just unforgivable, if you're involved in an accident you would be facing very serious charges and a lengthy custodial sentence."
Magistrate Wilson took into account a lack of aggravating factors and limited record.
"You have a clean record as an adult since holding a drivers licence nearly eight years ago, which in itself is quite remarkable," Magistrate Wilson said.
"Then you go and mess it up with something as serious and significant as this."
Lang was disqualified from driving for six months and placed on the interlock program for two years. He was also fined $500 and was issued a community corrections order to be of good behaviour for 12 months.
