ASM, the new owner of the Dubbo Project, reports that its community consultative committee has three vacancies for volunteer community members living "within the Dubbo-Toongi area".

The committee is traditionally made up of five community members, a representative of Dubbo City Council and a representative of ASM.
As a committee member you will be expected to contribute constructively to committee discussions... and communicate information about the Dubbo Project from the committee to the broader community

"As a committee member you will be expected to contribute constructively to committee discussions, attend around four meetings a year, and communicate information about the Dubbo Project from the committee to the broader community," its spokesman said.

Nominations will be received up to 4pm on November 13.
The Dubbo Project represents a large in-ground polymetallic resource of zirconium, rare earths, niobium, hafnium, tantalum and yttrium.
It is near the village of Toongi, 25 kilometres south of Dubbo.
The Dubbo Project has all approvals in place and is shovel-ready, subject to financing.
