The two sides are unbeaten after the first two rounds of the season and have produced some brilliant attacking footy.
The Goannas, featuring a strong Dubbo contingent, are coming off a comfortable win over the MIdwest Brumbies at Mudgee last weekend while Woodbridge made their rivals sit up and take notice when putting the Panorama Platypi to the sword last weekend.
"This will be the big set-up game for the rest of the season," Goannas captain Amy Townsend said, looking at Woodbridge's early performances.
"Just looking at their results I think they've tightened a lot of things up since previous years.
"Attacking wise they have definitely got points in them. They're very similar to us in that they have strike power all over the park."

The Orange Vipers are also undefeated after two rounds in what is already an exciting race for the minor premiership.
The Vipers have also been electric in attack and have already piled on 104 points but the Goannas (80) and Woodbridge (86) aren't far behind.
The two sides which meet at Forbes also have the best defensive records in the competition, with Woodbridge having only conceded eight points so far.
Townsend will get to lead her side out at her home ground on Sunday and the Goannas lineup is expected to be boosted by the return of Dubbo duo Majayda Darcy and Demi Wilson as well as another Forbes product in Kaitlyn Andrews.
"Our strength through the middle," Townsend said, one of the key forwards herself.
"That really allows our backs, our halves April (Townsend) and Tori (Canham), and our hooker to play off the back of us."
While the Goannas senior side has been in impressive form early in the season the club's under 18s, 16s, and 14s sides have all won one and lost one early in the season.
"The skills in our younger players are phenomenal," Townsend said.
"I can't wait to see what they do in future."
The action at Forbes' Spooner Oval starts with the 14s at 10am while the 16s and 18s to follow before the opens at 2pm.
Elsewhere this weekend, the ladder-leading Vipers take on the Midwest Brumbies at Orange while the Panorama Platypi will look to get their season up and running when they welcome the Castlereagh Cougars to Bathurst.
