Since flying in from the US six days ago, champion tenpin bowler Jason Belmonte has been quarantined in a Sydney city hotel.

He's not even sure if he's allowed to name it.
"I heard them on the bus say we weren't to take photos of any officials or the hotel, so I don't know if I can say where I am," he said.
Wherever he is, he's not having the greatest time of it.
He's wary of grizzling, as he knows his 14 days of boredom and mind games are contributing to the greater good.

"The government is protecting grandparents and friends at high risk, and I'd much prefer me having to spend two weeks here so I can have a stress-free life when I get out, and not worry about COVID if I go to the grocery store."
Still, the days are grinding by very slowly.
"We weren't given a room key - once you walk in that's it, you can't leave," Mr Belmonte said.
"There is no fresh air, and the three meals a day are prepared and left out the front of your door.
"You can have a care package sent, or delivered by Woolies, and that is inspected by police and dropped at your door."
Six days in, and Mr Belmonte - who was returning from the US after winning his 25th Professional Bowlers Association title - has caught up on all his business affairs, done as much exercise as one can in a hotel room, watched some TV and kept in touch with his wife Kimberley and their three children Aria, Hugo and Sylvie via modern technology.
He's done quarantine before, but it was with family.
This time he's on his lonesome and, truth be told, he's kind of at a loose end as to how he might fill week two.
"You wake up and know that the four walls are as far as you're going that day.
"You exercise your mind, you exercise physically, but as the day goes on and the sun goes down you realise you have to do this tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day.
"I think I may have been too productive in the first week as I'm starting to regret not having any emails that need to be dealt with."
At the suggestion of his children, who took the idea from a teacher, Mr Belmonte is considering starting work on an autobiography.
