From Friday, the watering of lawns and gardens is permitted any time between 6pm and 9am, walls and paved surfaces can be washed with a trigger hose and cars can be cleaned with a trigger hose on the lawn.
"The improved weather conditions has meant that community demand has dropped which means we can reduce the required water restrictions on residents," Narromine Shire Council general manager Jane Redden said.

"The ongoing drought conditions identified the need to secure water for the Shire with council commissioning a temporary treatment plant near Narromine. This allows council to treat water from our deep bores to meet water quality requirements and our peak demands."
Ms Redden thanked the community for its due diligence throughout the ongoing drought. She also reminded residents to remain vigilant with their water use.
