SIX days after their winning numbers appeared on screen, a Dubbo Keno player has stepped forward to claim their $57,000 prize.
The local resident held a Keno Classic 8 Spot winning entry in game 6060 played on Thursday 8 October 2020 at Club Dubbo, winning a massive $57,249.50.
The player plans to remain anonymous and celebrate in private, with Club Dubbo manager Gavin Williams saying he was thrilled to hear his venue had sold a major prize.
"How good is that! It's great news for a local!" he said.
"This is the biggest Keno prize we've ever sold in a while.
"We sold a Keno Classic 9 Spot winning entry, but it was decades ago now.
"It's always good to have a local win, and it's great we've sold it!
"Congratulations to our winner! We wish them all the best!"
