Organisation founder Tania Daykin said they are bringing 550 chickens to Dubbo alone for adoption, which have come from a Dubbo farm.
The hens are given to the organisation anonymously by farmers when they reach 18-months old.
When hens reach 18-months-old their egg production gradually slows down and they start laying big eggs less often, so farmers slaughter them to avoid excessive numbers.
"We rescue the chickens that are given to us anonymously by farmers who no longer want them and re-home them otherwise they will be slaughtered," Ms Daykin said.
"We would love to get our adoption numbers in Dubbo up as the less the hens have to travel from the farm in Dubbo, the better.
"We have many things in place to ensure they are adopted into loving homes and aren't being purchased for money-making reasons.
"We will give the chickens to good homes only, not for breeding or selling of eggs, undisclosed, farmers, dealers, breeders or sellers need not apply.
"That's why we have a limit on up to six hens a home because there's no money in only six hens."
Ms Daykin said the adoption process starts by completing an online application.
The application process enables them to collect needed information and gives them an idea as to how many hens they need to bring to each pickup point to avoid making any of the hens travel for no reason.
The organisation has rescued and re-homed more than 40 thousand chicken's
The organisation will inform adopters of the pickup point via the Facebook page, Let The Ladies Go.
Dubbo's Rescue Chicken Pickup Day is Saturday, October 10, from Dubbo the organisation will continue to Orange, Bathurst, Lithgow and Katoomba.
Those picking up hens will be required to have a suitable sized travelling cage on hand.
