Captain Jacob Hill is expected to return to the top job this season after a first year in the leadership position last year, with club veteran Glenn Shepherd expecting the first year to have benefited not just Hill, but many of the club's young roster.
"He had his first year out as a skipper and he did really well in a challenging season and experience," Shepherd said.

Hill, helped along by the talents of Nathan Munro, Ben Wheeler and Aidan Bennewith delivered some big upsets during the prior season and seemed to hit a run of form toward the truncated competition's tail end.
"We'll be a pretty young team again this year, but that's always the challenge, they've definitely got a few more games under their belt, but it'll still be a bit of a learning year and a building year for the roster," Shepherd said.
"We've got a few of those older heads we'll mix in with the younger players to make sure it's all working."
"We've got a good mix of experience to draw on right now and that definitely helps when you're bringing those younger guys through, we've lost one or two of the younger guys who've gone off to Sydney for school, which is disappointing, but we're sure there'll do good things there."
While a good mix of experience and youth is crucial for any building club, Rugby are one of the clubs that likely stand to benefit from the one-day format the most this year, although Shepherd doesn't necessarily see it as a huge separator.
"I think it'll help most sides to be honest, at the moment, we don't have a lot of blokes in Dubbo who can or will bat for a long time and those are the kind of guys who'll take a two day game away from you," Shepherd said.
"Most sides, I think, will end up being pretty happy with it, that's probably going to be the big difference this year for most of the teams."
Rugby Cricket Club will first face off with the South Dubbo Hornets in round one this weekend when the 2019/2020 season gets underway in earnest.
