A man has been charged after two women were threatened with a knife and their vehicle stolen from them earlier this month.

Just after midnight on Sunday, September 20 two women - aged 53 and 55 - were sitting in a Mercedes Coupe on Darling Street, Bourke, when they were approached by a group of males.
The group threatened the women with a knife, before gaining access to the vehicle.
The women managed to flee, and the group was seen leaving the area in the Mercedes, which also contained their personal belongings.

Detectives attached to Central North Police District established Strike Force Doak to investigate the incident.
Following inquiries, officers attached to Orana Mid Western Police District arrested a 24-year-old man at a shopping centre on Wheelers Lane, Dubbo, just before 2pm on Tuesday.
He was taken to Dubbo Police Station and charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated take/drive motor vehicle with person in/on it-armed with weapon and never licensed person drive vehicle on road.
The man was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday.
Inquiries are continuing and further arrests are expected.
