Earlier this week the Daily Liberal was able to break the news the American chain Carl's Jr was coming to town, with the new restaurant to be built on the block of land on the corner of Cobra and Hawthorn Streets.
On Saturday morning the Ten Tops will be officially opened on Macquarie Street.
Times are tough for businesses at the moment, but things are still moving forward and it's great to be living in a place where this is happening.

And some businesses are being a little creative in the way they market their wares and open their doors.
It's something that's been happening around the city all year, and continues with the opening of Creative Fusion - a new pop-up shop in the CBD.
It's not the type of store you might think.
The brainchild of Dubbo's Laura Dunkley, the pop-up shop allows artists a space to expose and sell their work - with 20 artists coming together to take part in the store.
Artists will be able to rotate what they have in the shop, and it will be managed through a rotating volunteer roster with the same artists manning the shop.
It's a simple idea, and easy to see why the response Laura received was nothing but positive.
Within three weeks of putting the plan into motion, the pop-up shop has opened.
"Even before it opened a lot of the people we spoke to went 'oh my God, Dubbo needs something like it'. It was that real relief that they would be able to see locally produced stuff. We've had locals in, we've had people from far away, but every who has been popping in has been really impressed," Ms Dunkley said.
"For a shop that wasn't designed to be a gallery in the first place, it has quite a good feel."
It's another great shop for Dubbo, and shows that, especially this year, doing something different can really pay off.
