There were 67 developments approved during the month worth a combined estimated total of $11.9 million.
The developments included a $1.9 million educational building, a $910,000 warehouse or storage facility and two modified applications for retail buildings worth $334,000.
Ballimore Rural Fire Service was granted approval for a storage shed, a 16 lot community title subdivision was approved at Morgan Street and Dubbo residents started to think about how they were going to cool down in summer with the approval of six applications for swimming pools.

The housing sector is also strong with 17 new applications for single dwellings and two for other residential developments.
The number of development applications and their value are both higher than August 2019. That month there were 61 applications which were worth a combined estimated value $8.8 million.
The new financial year has brought with it an increased number of developments.
Between the start of July and the end of August there have been 132 development applications which have been approved. They're worth a total of $22 million.
In comparison, for the same time period in 2019, there were 116 applications worth $28.8 million.
The increase is not unexpected for council. Last month council's manager building and development services Darryll Quigley said he expected to see an increase in development.
"At this stage, council is trending to have slightly more DAs lodged for 2020 than in 2019, showing the Dubbo region is continuing to grow, despite these challenging times," he said.
