The Parkes Elvis Festival is an award-winning event attracting over 24,000 people annually to Parkes, injecting over $13 million into the local economy and providing an extensive range of social benefits.
The Parkes Shire Council have decided that community input is absolutely integral to the decision on when, or if, to hold the Elvis Festival in 2021, to ensure that the decision is what the community wants.
They are calling on Parkes Shire residents and businesses to complete a short online survey that will assist with the decision-making process as it gauges community sentiment.
Residents that do not have access to a computer can complete a paper form at the council's administration counter or the Parkes Visitor Information Centre.
Both the online and paper surveys close on Friday September 18.
