The festival was a good and much-needed opportunity for families and individuals to get out and about, socialise and enjoy a weekend of exceptional spring weather while admiring the artworks on display.
However, social distancing had to be observed.
Among the many who attended the two-day festival was family members Wendy, Blue, Emily and Amelia Woolfrey, who said one of their favourite pieces on display was the Hide and Seek Wall submitted by Wellington Public School.
Wellington Arts Centre president Lisa Thomas said it was good to see the event receiving "loads of support" from the Wellington and wider community.
"The festival was really well supported this year," Ms Thomas said.
"We had loads of people coming in and out.
"We had hundreds of people visiting on both days."
Ms Thomas said she had been "flat out" all weekend.
Ms Thomas said there was also a lot of artwork on exhibition at the festival this year due to the large sum of people who participated.
"We had a lot of participants this year, which is fantastic," she said.
The artwork at this year's festival were also exceptionally high, the president said.
"It has definitely set the bar high for next years participants," she said.
Awards were presented to an array of winning pieces across seven categories.
The Open Sculpture award was presented to Felicity Cavanough for her Scruffy Dog sculpture.
