A month long campaign that focuses on raising awareness of women's mental health has commenced today and the community is encouraged to take part.

Liptember was founded in 2010 and in those years has become a well-known nationwide fundraiser
Its easy to take part, participants can purchase a Liptember lipstick from any Chemist Warehouse, My Chemist or My Beauty Spot store.
They will then have to register a fundraiser and/or create a team and rock their lippy throughout the month of September.
Liptember founder Luke Morris is incredibly proud $2 million was raised last year during the 2019 campaign to support women's mental health and hopes to top that in 2020.
"Now more than ever, it is so important to be supporting women's mental health and we are thrilled to be partnering with six diverse organisations and programs which will allow Liptember to make a greater impact on the mental health of women across Australia," Mr Morris said.

By wearing your specially purchased lipstick you will help kick start conversations around women's mental health issues and supporting those going postnatal and menopausal depression, plus body image issues.
Individuals are encouraged to register online and seek sponsorship from family, friends and co-workers for committing to wear the lippy throughout September.
Funds raised during the month of September are donated to the Centre for Women's Mental Health, Lifeline, Batyr, The Jean Hailes Foundation, The Pretty Foundation and The Magpie Nest Women's Program.
