Dubbo venues and groups are rebounding from months-long lockdowns and coming up with events for a COVID-safe era.
Two entertainment experiences to be held this week have sold out, and there's multiple options to choose from to take us through to the end of August.
We take a look at a selection...
A Devil's outing
The bad news is, if you wanted to go to Devil's Hollow Brewery's Feast of Sinners - Mulled Wine and Dark Ale, or its Betty Confetti - Drag Queen Bingo, you're too late because both events have sold out.
The good news is the brewery has other entertainment planned for this month.
Make Trivia Great Again on Thursday night and Unleash Your Inner Devil - Karaoke with a Twist on Saturday night are among its what's-on list items.
Jumanji
You've seen the memes comparing this year with Jumanji and its magical video game, and now you can go and see the movie.
Dubbo Westview Drive-In will open the gates on Saturday at 5pm to screen the 1995 blockbuster.
"Come on, roll the dice and bring the kids and introduce them to the magnificent Robin Williams," the drive-in says in a post to social media.
Club Local
It's a challenge to find the silver linings of the coronavirus era, but Dubbo Regional Theatre has planned a glittering evening of entertainment on Saturday with Club Local.
"Super sultry" burlesque artist Miss Lee will be circulating and the night will also feature "big band tunes, ballroom dancers, comedy and a touch of magic".
The Tin Roof Big Band and Cassandra and Joel from Fantasy Dubbo Dancesport have been rehearsing their hearts out.
Live music at The Mersh
The Commercial Hotel reopened with a fresh new look after lockdown and they've got tunes to match.
Find live music there every Friday and Saturday nights, including this Friday with Pete Riley and then on Saturday Brad Haling.
Action-thriller Tenet
Reading Cinemas Dubbo has announced Tenet is "finally here" and it is holding advance screenings throughout Saturday and Sunday.
"Be one of the first people in the world to catch the highly-anticipated Tenet, directed by Christopher Nolan," the cinema said in a social media post.
"We've got heaps of sessions running, but make sure you book online to avoid disappointment."
Introducing a little Italy to Dubbo
Up front, we'll say this Thursday's event is sold out, but if you like to live vicariously, read on.
The Establishment created A Casa Mia - Introducing a little Italy to Dubbo as a night to experience a combination of local produce and Italian culture.
It's a degustation-style pasta and wine night in partnership with Mudgee's Once Upon a Thyme and Baker Williams Distillery, and Millthorpe's Angullong Wines.
While we might have missed out on tickets to this one, The Establishment owner Tenelle Bond is foreshadowing more events in the future.
