Health Infrastructure reports of "great progress" being made on the final component of the hospital's $150 million stage three and four redevelopment.
A Health Infrastructure spokesman said building contractor Hansen Yuncken was also focused on the main entry facade and internal fit-out of the building including a new cardiology unit, intensive care unit, ambulatory care specialist medical clinics and the final section of the new emergency department.
"The concrete structure of the new front-of-house area is almost complete following the demolition of the old emergency department and medical imaging unit," he said.
The hospital's new front of house will feature new undercover main entry and drop-off zone which is also under construction. To facilitate these works, traffic into the hospital has been temporarily redirected through the new eastern car park.

"To facilitate these works, traffic into the hospital has been temporarily redirected through the new eastern car park."
The spokesman said extensive planning was underway with hospital staff to ensure a smooth transition into the new building when it was completed "in the first half of next year".
"Details about when each department will open will be provided closer to the date," he said.
"The move is being carefully staged to ensure minimal disruption to patient services and will begin after an operational commissioning period."
The emergency and medical imaging units began operating out of the new building in March.
Stage three and four redevelopment has already delivered new infrastructure including the surgical and dialysis units in the Talbragar Building, the eastern car park, and the emergency department and medical imaging unit in the Macquarie Building.
