A good idea, or not? It's really up to you to decide
A new air route taking us straight to the beach is usually pretty exciting, but in this current climate, we are in two-minds about it.

It's great for Dubbo, and great for Ballina, but, with the coronavirus pandemic worsening, especially in Victoria, we just aren't too sure if taking a trip is the right thing at the moment.
We're sitting on the fence with this one - because in this climate we feel you just have to do what's right for you and your family.
And we aren't just talking about flights, we are talking about all types of travel.
There are currently no limitations on people who live in NSW travelling within NSW.
Under government advice up to 20 people may stay in a holiday home or holiday rental, and more than 20 can stay if they are all members of the same household.
There are restrictions on travelling interstate and border restrictions, but we are taking about state based travel.
However, people are still nervous.
They are nervous because each day a few more cases are announced. It's not like the high numbers in Victoria, but there are a few more each day for NSW.
And while the virus hasn't really made it's way out here more recently, though there is one active case in the Western NSW Local Health District in Orange, it could quite easily.
What's happening in Victoria shows us that.
If we wash our hands, keep social distancing and wear masks when we are in public places, we stand a much better chance at keeping each other safe.
And we have to think of each other in this, not only ourselves.
So, for those comfortable, we look forward to hearing your Ballina stories and for those who aren't, that's okay too.
When all this is over, we hope the new flight routes are there for everyone.
