The young gun now has seven tries from six games, and credits his passion for the cultural celebration for spurring him on.
"I bring everything I can every week but that Indigenous Round was just really important to me and my family," Staggs told broncos.com.au.

While the talented centre was back to his usual form after a month-long spell with a hamstring injury, his club have approached the NRL Integrity Unit about a compromising video spread on social media.
In a statement the club said they had been made aware of video recording involving Staggs.
"The video is of a highly personal nature and has been released without his consent," A spokesperson said.
"The Club is working closely with the NRL Integrity Unit, having alerted it as soon as becoming aware of the issue."
Staggs has reportedly been cleared to play for the Broncos this Friday and is unlikely to face action.
