A MAN has faced court after police seized $88,000 worth of methylamphetamine during a vehicle stop near Dubbo.

At 8.30pm on Saturday, July 25, officers attached to the Orana Mid Western Police District stopped a white Kia Cerato sedan traveling on Severne Street at Geurie, about 30 kilometres south-east of Dubbo, and spoke with the occupants.
During a search of the Kia, police allegedly located 88g of methylamphetamine, which has an estimated potential street value of nearly $88,000.
The passenger, a 44-year-old man, was arrested and taken to Dubbo Police Station.
He was charged with supply prohibited drug (indictable quantity) and possess prohibited drug.
The man was refused bail and appeared at Dubbo Local Court on Monday.
