With the aid of a grant from the NSW Heritage Office, the Local Heritage Fund is legible to those with properties listed as a heritage item in the Dubbo Local Environmental Plan 2011 or Wellington Local Environmental Plan 2012.
Eligible works to heritage-listed properties includes repair, maintenance and reinstatement of missing elements.
Examples of suitable projects could include work on the structure of the building, verandahs, roofing, wall cladding, fences, decorative detail, painting and stormwater drainage.
Typical grants would be in the range of $2000 or less subject to availability of funds and the nature of work proposed.

Applicants will be required to at least match any grant funding with an equivalent dollar amount of their own money.
Complete the application form application form on the DRC website, and submit to Council by 5 pm on Friday 18 September 2020.

There is limited funding available and as a result, Council expects to be able to fund only those projects that are most appropriate and most achievable.
