The COVID-19 pandemic had minimal impact on the 2019/20 Dubbo District Junior Cricket Association (DDJCA), with grand final day being played out before the lockdown was implemented.
But there's a chance next season could be affected, with some restrictions and hygiene guidelines likely to still be in place when the warmer months roll around.
That's why DDJCA president Glenn Shepherd is hard at work already.
He's planning for the upcoming annual general meeting while on Wednesday he also presented Tim Emerton from major sponsor Macquarie Credit Union with a framed representative shirt as thanks for his ongoing support in what is a difficult time for many businesses.
"Coming out of the COVID situation we want all our members and other people to be aware of our sponsors," Shepherd said.
As well as the support from Macquarie Credit Union and so many other sponsors, Shepherd is hoping some more volunteers can put their hand up to help out ahead of next season.
Every sport always needs plenty of volunteers to help out but the pressure on those regulars could be even more next season should be there strict guidelines to follow.

The junior AGM is Monday, July 27 and Shepherd is eager to see some new faces in attendance.
"Sporting groups and culture groups make up the community so the more people we can get involved, it's the old more hands and less work story," he said.
"We just want people to show a bit of interest. It doesn't have to be a full-time commitment. If they've got a particular skill, whether it be social media or website maintenance or they help out and learn about coaching.
"It doesn't have to be a big commitment, just being here. Particularly with the restrictions we're going to have. Who knows how that could pan out."
And given the numbers across the competition and the elite talent making on impact on the big stage it's shaping as a perfect time to get involved with the DDJCA.
As well as a host of kids in representative teams last season, under 16s players Tom Coady and Koda Sissian also took their skills to the city and played a key role in Eastern Suburbs' Green Shield junior tournament victory.
There was also countless strong performances locally which were all recognised.
CYMS young gun Coady was named DDJCA Player of the Year while the winner of the prestigious Sam Fraser Spirit of Cricket Award was promising RSL-Colts spinner Tyson Deebank.
