The speed limit on the highway has been reduced to 40km/h will emergency service personnel still on scene clearing the site.
Live traffic has urged motorists to drive with caution and allow extra travel time.

A RESCUE helicopter has been deployed to the Mitchell Highway following a crash between a truck and a car on Thursday morning.
Emergency services received a triple-0 call at 7.45am following reports of the crash on the highway between Molong and Wellington, just north of Eurimbla Road.
Mitchell Highway has since been closed in both directions to allow the helicopter to land, Live Traffic says.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area and allow extra travel time.
Diversions for southbound motorists are via Burrendong Way, while northbound motorists are urged to take Banjo Patterson Way, Renshaw McGirr Way and Showground Road.

These diversions are suitable for all vehicles.
