The Garry Lunn-trained Jarmanagic entered the straight at Tyers Park with nothing but clear air in front of him along the rails.

The only problem was the almighty lead Mount Genep had created.
The hometown hope proved far too strong in the Erin's Quality Outdoor Power Centre Country Class 2 Plate (1100m), getting the job done with relative ease after putting the rest of the field in the rear-vision mirror early on.
Dubbo trainer Lunn saw Jarmanagic (Liam Blanch, $9.50) settle midfield early on but it soon became clear he and everyone else would have a real task ahead of them.
Mount Genep (Eleanor Webster-Hawes, $3 favourite) set-up the win early to make it three wins in seven starts since linking up with the Dean Mirfin stables.
Turfeze ($4.40, Mathew Cahill) was second after doing the bulk of the chasing all race while Jarmanagic ran home well for third.
The victory for Mirfin was one of three highlights for Bathurst trainers on their home track.
Gayna Williams earlier trained the quinella in the Central West Electrical CG&E Maiden Handicap (1200m) while Paul Theobald saw veteran Attilius salute in the Kennards Hire Benchmark 66 Handicap (1400m).
Williams had From The Bush ($4, Grant Buckley) go past the post ahead of stablemate Listen To The Band ($7, Ashleigh Stanley) and the winning trainer is eyeing bigger things for the pair.
"If they both shape up well enough, I'd like to take them to a Highway," Williams said after the one-two.
"Of course, we've got to win a couple more races with both of them first."
Williams was pleased with how her two geldings raced on Monday.
"[From The Bush] went well and I think they both went well," she said.
"He's first up and he's a horse that's bred to go further, so the 1200 metres today was a bit of question mark. I thought they'd run along pretty well, and it was whether he could run them down.
"[Listen To The Band], he's showing a bit of an ability, so that's been pleasing. He's only had two starts now for two seconds.
"They were both pleasing."
Attilius continued his love affair with the soft tracks in the day's final event.
Lunn also had a hope in that race, with Pittsburgh debuting for the Dubbo trainer after previously racing for Dan McCarthy.
He carried the top weight of 60kg and after slightly missing the start struggled to really get into the race.
There was no such issue for Attilius, who scored a first win since August of last year for Theobald.
The win was a special birthday present for the Bathurst trainer.
Racing in the western area continues at Coonamble on Sunday and then Warren on Monday.
