The Toyota Tour de OROC presentation was held on Monday, with the passing of a $100,000 cheque to the Macquarie Homestay Facility.
A special thank you was also given to Andrew Graham who raised $20,000 of the money just from his own efforts.
Mr Graham said during the fundraising Dubbo was in the grips of drought and fundraising for all participants was difficult.
"The committee thought we would try a more direct approach this year by appealing to individuals and businesses and it's just amazing how easy fundraising is," Mr Graham said.
"I'm not hugely into social media, but I do use email a lot," Mr Graham said.
"In my case, I just sent direct emails out to people.
"I think it's just the case of getting the message across to the recipient that it's a good cause, it's just surprising how generous people can be."
Mr Graham said 200 kilometres on a bike might sound impressive, but when it's broken down into 30 kilometres a day, 'really anyone can do it'.
"We have a fantastic support group. It sounds like a lot, it is a lot, but when you've got the humour of the group, that's what keeps us going."
