The program gives employment and on-the-job training to young people who may have otherwise fallen through the cracks. The program first venture is helping to restart a lime farm.
It was one of the recipients of the Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation's latest round of funding.
LeaderLife founder and chief executive officer Joh Leader said the organisation had a very simple mission, "to help people doing it tough to lead their best life".

"Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation's support for a vehicle and equipment will really empower our enterprise but it's so much more than just equipment for us," Ms Leader said.
"This will instill all the good feels for our kids and help them to know the big world really does believe in them."
Soil2Soul supports young people between 15 and 21-years-old who have been disengaged from school or having trouble finding meaningful employment.
The idea came from one of the kids involved.
"One said 'if we are going to keep kids out of trouble and off the streets, we have to get them jobs. But jobs with people who understand us kids'. And that's how this program came about," Ms Leader said.
Charitable Foundation chair Phil Neat said the board was committed to providing support for communities, which was more important than ever during the COVID-19 pandemic.
