Greg McIntyre, who lives on a farm outside of Narromine, has spent his time in isolation working on a two metre tall artwork painstakingly modelled after a member of the famed Australian Light Horses brigade.

"I've wanted to build it for a long time, I've been doing a lot of this kind of stuff since I retired here, being about 70 years of age," Mr McIntyre said.
Mr McIntyre decided on a light horseman for his latest project due to a fascination with the military, that he credits to his father and grandfather who served in World War 1 and 2.
"I live on this little farm, but I've always been interested in the military, it's full scale, it's got all the badges and stuff on it, it looks really authentic," Mr McIntyre said.
"I really admired the old mates who did their bit, especially in the first and second World War."
A boiler-maker by trade before being forced into retirement, Mr McIntyre picked up a talent for working with metal while living in Sydney and began creating artworks for his family after settling down.
"I lost a daughter in 2014, through breast cancer, she asked me to build a dragonfly for her and I built one that was three metres long all out of wire and then I moved onto actual sized things; a dog, a kangaroo," Mr McIntyre said.
"They're up around the front of the property, but it's a little farm, it's nice and quite out here."
