Some more good news has arrived with the announcement that from June 13 gymnasiums, indoor pools, dance studios and yoga studios can reopen, as more COVID-19 restrictions are lifted across the state.

And it gets better for junior sports players, with July 1 marked down as the date for their return as well.
With the governments COVID-19 recovery plan moving along slowly it's a clear sign that life is getting back to 'normal' once more.
And as long as we continue to abide with social distancing, and all the other restrictions still in place we can mostly go back to living the way we used to.
Mostly anyway.
It does mean a sign of relief for those business owners who have been closed for a number of months since restrictions came in.
It was a Sunday night back in early March when the gyms were told they had to close, and now a Tuesday afternoon, with a little over a week to get things ready, they are told they can open again.
But it's still not going to be easy.
Fitness Focus was last year's Gold Rhino winner and now owner Andrew Bassett is wondering about bouncing back from all they have been through in the past few months.
He told the Daily Liberal it was the 'hardest guessing game at the moment'.
"Just because we can open our doors, there's still operations costs and staff wages to consider."
As a result they are looking at a staged approach to operations with reduced services - which is what a number of businesses are doing as they open up their doors.
It's been a hard few months, and it's going to be a slow return with some places predicting it could take up to a year of good trade to get them on the right track again.
With the drought, fires and floods and now coronavirus hitting the state in the past few months, we can only hope things get better for our communities for the rest of the year.
