Harwok'n'zoff fought hard to stick to the front of the field early and maintained that position until late, finishing second after a late burst of speed carried Lundholm's other chance, Arrivederci into first place right before the finish line.
Speaking with Sky Thorougbred Racing afterwards, Lundholm described himself as 'pretty pleased'.

"I was confident with both runners, it was just a question of which one got the luck," Lundholm said.
"I think Harwak'n'zoff is looking for further, he's probably more of a one batter sort of thing, but I take no credit away from the smaller horse, he tried hard and he got the job done."
Lundholm backed Arrivederci to make the step up in distance too, but wants to see the winner develop more before taking such a step.
"I think he's been looking for ground as well, he's been looking for the mile, he's just very immature right now, he's a nice little horse progressing through and we'll have a lot of fun with him."
The win was described as 'sentimental' by Lundholm, who acknowledged that Arrivederci's owner Clinton Sarina had recently lost his father Fred, a well regarded trainer in the industry.
"He was a very big figure in the racing game, so it's great to see Clinton get a win today."
Prohibitive favourite Harley Fat Boy finished third after battling forward from an awkward start and almost being boxed out.
