A man has appeared in court on Wednesday after police seized ammunition and prohibited drugs from a home in Trangie.

About 10.10am on Tuesday officers attached to Western Region Enforcement Squad and Orana Mid-Western Police District's Target Action Group executed a FPO search at a home in Trangie.
During the search, officers located and seized cannabis.
About an hour later, officers stopped the resident, a 24-year-old man, in a Mitsubishi Triton Utility on Tomingley Road, Narromine.
During a search of the vehicle, police allegedly located and seized ammunition.
Following further inquiries, officers searched a home in Narromine, where they located and seized further ammunition.
The man was arrested and taken to Dubbo Police Station where he was charged with possess prohibited drug, acquire ammunition subject to prohibition order and possess ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority.
The man was bail refused to appear at Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday.
