They are super advanced Canary Island date palms and help complete the existing tree-lined avenue along Darling and Talbragar streets in the park.
The addition of the trees is part of the Victoria Park Rehabilitation Plan.
The trees, which were planted last Tuesday, were acquired locally with two from the Dubbo Railway Station adjacent to the park and the third from a private property just outside the city.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
The palms are currently being held in place with some rope and concrete blocks to allow the roots time to grow and the tree to stabilise.
Developed in 2013, the park's rehabilitation plan was designed as a 10 year roadmap to rejuvenate the green space.
