MOTORISTS have lost their licence with others due to face court after a police blitz on roads around Parkes and Forbes.

The incidents occurred from Friday to Sunday, with some motorists allegedly caught over the drink driving limit and others on illicit drugs.
At 4.50pm on Friday, police stopped a Holden Commodore on Henry Parkes Way for a mobile test.
"The driver, a 26-year-old male, has returned a negative breath test and a positive drug test, indicating positive for cannabis," Traffic and Highway Patrol officers said.
"The male was arrested and conveyed to the Parkes police station for the secondary test. This has also returned a positive result for cannabis.
"The male was issued with a notice prohibiting him from driving for 24 hours. The sample was sealed and sent to the police lab for a certificate and result to be obtained."
In a separate incident at 8.30pm on Friday, police stopped a Ford Falcon on the Newell Highway in Parkes in relation to a broken tail light.
The 30-year-old male driver returned a negative breath test and has informed police that he has never held a licence. The male has handed police his only identification which was his prison photo ID.
The driver was subsequently issued with a court attendance notice.
The registered owner and mother of the male was seated in the passenger seat and was a current licence holder, was issued with the relevant infringement notices for the tail light and for permitting the male to commit the offence.
Then on 7.45pm on Sunday officers stopped a white Holden Rodeo on Windemere Avenue in Forbes for random breath testing.
The 22-year-old male driver has returned a positive result for drugs.
He was arrested and taken to Forbes Police Station where he underwent a secondary test. This has returned a positive reading for meth.
The male was issued with a 24 hour prohibition from driving. The sample was sent to the lab for analysis which will result in a court appearance.
Finally, at 9.48pm on Sunday, police stopped a vehicle on Farnell Street in Forbes for a random breath test.
The 26-year-old male had returned a roadside reading of 0.243.
He was arrested for the purpose of a breath analysis and conveyed to Forbes police station. He was then submitted to the breath analysis which returned a reading of 0.186.
The male was charged with high range PCA and had his driver's licence suspended.
