An elderly man trapped in a crashed car in the state's west has been released and taken to hospital on Wednesday.

Police have appealed for information about the single-vehicle crash near Parkes.
Emergency services were contacted after a motorist came across a car crashed on Henry Parkes Way, 13km west of Parkes, about 10am on Wednesday.
Officers attached to Central West Police District attended along with the State Emergency Service and NSW Ambulance, and found a 75-year-old man trapped inside the vehicle, NSW Police said.
He was released and airlifted to Orange Base Hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
Initial inquiries indicate that the vehicle left the roadway, travelled down a embankment and rolled a number of times, police said.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash has started and anyone with information or dashcam footage is urged to come forward.
