Exams will go ahead and students will continue studying in preparation at home.
St John's College year 12 student Adhina Jose said the ability to continue studying, although in a different way, is indicative that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
"Overall the changes, in my opinion, have not been too bad, although it has been a struggle with distractions and communicating with teachers, due to remote learning," Adhina said.

"Further, I find it difficult maintaining a routine similar to school, but it has been refreshing to see many implementations of the school to ensure my wellbeing and the ultimate support of my teachers during the tumultuous time.
"Currently, I am happy the HSC exams are going forward, because it illuminates that there is light at the end of the tunnel and that there has not been a drastic change to the original order of events.
"However, there are underlying concerns surrounding my preparation for them due to new procedures of remote learning and covering the content for my subjects in depth for the exams."
Another year-12 student from St John's College, Hannah Mckeown said she is coping with the changes as any student would.
"The changes have been very different, beyond what I was expecting to be doing in Year 12, but overall the process has been pretty smooth with the assistance of the amazing staff at St John's College," Hannah said.
"At the start of this whole process, I believed it would be easier to study online at home, but now that I've been doing it for a couple of weeks now I really miss the school learning environment and the interactions between the staff, myself and my classmates.
"So with that said I would rather be studying at school."
Hannah said she is 'ok' with the fact the HSC exams are going forward despite the current circumstances, as long as appropriate measures are being taken to ensure that it is fair for everyone considering the situation at hand.
"My advice to my peers and everyone else going through the same situation would be, don't be afraid to ask for help.
"I think it is essential to ask if you need help or if your not coping with the workload especially during this dynamic time," she said.
