The Relay or Life events scheduled for autumn have been postponed due to COVID-19, but the Cancer Council has developed Hope at Home.
Members of the public can purchase a Hope at Home Candle Kit, which contains a hope bag and candle to display on April 29. The kit can be purchased online for $25.
Cancer Council NSW community relations coordinator Katherine Bodiczky said the Cancer Council continued to support local people affected by cancer.

"Cancer patients across NSW need help now more than ever. They need help to get their treatment or stay nearby. They need emotional support from trained counsellors, clear information about their diagnosis, and access to emergency financial payments," she said.
"We are excited to launch Hope at Home to bring our Relay and wider community together in these uncertain times while raising vital funds."
Those who are registered as team captains in the relays will receive a complimentary Hope at Home kit.
"This is our chance to come together as a community and honour those impacted by cancer on April 29. It's going to be a beautiful way to show one another we are here," Ms Bodiczky said.
The candles can be purchased at give.cancercouncil.com.au/hopeathome. Those who light their candles on April 29 are encouraged to share their photos using #HopeAtHome and #StayHomeForCancer.
All money raised from Hope at Home will assist Cancer Council with cancer research, community prevention programs and support services.
