The five-year-old bay gelding, with veteran joceky Nash Rawiler on-board, made the most of all given opportunities down the 1400m track to swing in from the furthest outside start and give the eventual winner a real battle, but still finished up fourth.

There was barely anything in it, with Matthew Dunn's Gracie Bell taking first with a miniscule margin and not much other than a hair separating the mare from Tash Burleigh's Al Mah Haha in second.
Warren Gravenlock's Plonka took third after battling it out with Fast Talking, with just 0.2 of a length splitting the two horses at the post.
Nestor's other hope in the race, Sneak Preview, piloted by Tim Clark, found himself crowded out starting from the third gate, finishing up in tenth place amongst a pack that included Gayna Williams' Healing Hands.
