Anxiety and worry are constants for many when it comes to the coronavirus at the minute.
From the fear of its spread to fear of isolation and frustration at empty shelves in supermarkets.
And I've seen and heard so many people blaming the media for this fear.
But is it the media's fault? In some cases maybe yes, but it's a hard line to walk.
We at the Daily Liberal are reporting the facts each day - we are working with reputable sources to bring you the information that you need to know right now.
But we are being accused of making people scared at the same time as we are doing our job. With events cancelled, and lives changing, coronavirus is the news at the moment. And it's our job to report the news.
We aren't doing it to scare you, we are doing it to inform you. And by getting the information direct from those who know - those such as the health department, the governments, the businesses who are impacted, we are bring you the facts.
If you are worried or anxious my advice is to trust one source that you know is accurate and correct, and throw out the rest. Don't listen to those without the facts, or those complaining, whining and ranting on social media.
Listen to the facts, and hopefully that makes things easier for you.
For us, we will continue like always to bring you the news - and we are doing it from our homes at the moment.
And as always, if you have a story to tell - particularly a good news story at the minute - then please get in touch with me or the editorial team (just hit reply to this email)
