The group announced the cancellation on their Facebook page on Wednesday morning saying 'all parkrun events in Australia have been suspended with immediate effect due to the ongoing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation.
All events will be cancelled until at least the end of March.
Dubbo parkrun event director Miriam Tan said the orgainsers were 'disappointed'.
"We are obviously disappointed, our weekly event is such a big part of our lives, the social aspect and the physical activity aspect.
"But we understand and we'll be back one day soon."

The popular event draws a few hundred runners and walkers to Sandy Beach each week to take part in the five kilometer course.
Global Chief Operating Officer, Tom Williams said last week 15 countries cancelled their events due to the coronavirus outbreak, with Australia and New Zealand the latest countries to make the decision. .
"For so many of us, parkrun is the constant in an otherwise unpredictable week, where we can spend time with friends and family, enjoying the great outdoors.
"To have that taken away can be incredibly challenging, so please know we are thinking of you all, and already working on ways we can support you until your events return," Mr Williams said.
