The tour series has been winding its way around Australia this summer with sell-out crowds cheering on the best in live Australian music and it's arriving in Dubbo on April 4.
Tour promoter Duane McDonald said back in 2009 when Australia's Working Class Man Jimmy Barnes was looking for a way to promote his new album, he thought a concert series with some of his musical mates was the perfect way to do it.
His album at the time was called The Rhythm and the Blues and Red Hot, a song originally recorded by US rockabilly musician Billy Lee Riley, was the first track.
"Jimmy Barnes put it [the tour] together originally, he had an album called Red Hot and he said lets just find six caravan parks and and do some gigs," Mr McDonald said.
And the rest, as they say, is history with Barnesy's idea to create the Red Hot Summer Tour now celebrating its 10th year.

Mr McDonald said as part of the milestone celebration organisers had put together an incredible all Australian line-up for the four-month long tour.
ARIA Hall of Fame inductees the Hunters and Collectors are headlining the tour.
Also taking to the stage will be: James Reyne, The Living End, The Angels, Baby Animals, Killing Heidi and Boom Crash Opera.
There are very few tickets left to the Dubbo show on Saturday, April 4 and Mr McDonald said people need to get in quick so they don't miss out.
Gates open at 1pm with Boom Crash Opera the first to hit the stage at 1.40pm.
The concert is on at the Lazy River Estate and tickets are on sale now.
