The trial of a Queensland truck driver accused of dangerous driving that caused the death of a young couple near Dubbo in 2018 is listed to open on Wednesday.

Robert Crockford, 52, arrived at Dubbo District Court where the case was listed for trial and mention on Monday before Judge Nanette Williams.
Mr Crockford has pleaded not guilty to 12 indictable charges, including two counts of dangerous driving occasioning death and three counts of dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.
He was charged in connection to a crash on January 16, 2018 on the Newell Highway north of Dubbo, in which Gulargambone's Hannah Ferguson, 19, and her 21-year-old boyfriend Reagen Skinner died and 10 others were injured.
Mr Crockford's legal representative told the court his client was in the court foyer.
Judge Williams was told the trial was likely to be two to three weeks in duration.
Mr Crockford's bail was continued until Wednesday.
