The ORUMA is an organisation formed by people who live in Dubbo, who are originally from Kerala, a state in southern India.
Association president, Robin Vincent, said the funds were raised by kids from the association who hosted an event called 'cake by kids', which ran over the 2019 Christmas period.
"We donated the funds to a non-governmental organisation named Aussie Helpers in December of last year," Mr Vincent said.
