The workshop is about the sense of empowerment from feeling a deep connection to one's own soul.
- Jason Engelbretcht
Mr Engelbretcht is an Aboriginal medicine man and together with his partner, Shelley will aim to lead their audience through a deep connection to ancestral dreaming.
Mr Engelbretcht said the workshop is like "re-calibrating the compass of one's life."
"I am an Indigenous man of mixed race genealogy and a message I emphasise is that we have star ancestors in our universe," Mr Engelbetcht said.
"I don't introduce myself as someone who represents a language group, totem or indigenous clan and I'm not doing anybody's ceremonial business or talking on the country about other people's business.
"Shelley and I facilitate the experience, but it's our participants who generate the group dynamic. Each time we return to Dubbo, we feel very welcome.
"It's been a true honour to be embraced by the community, and we're grateful for the support that helps us provide our healing work."
