The 502,861 hectare Gospers Mountain bushfire, which is now at advice level, continues to move down the escarpment towards containment lines that have been established along the valley.
"The Gospers Mountain fire continues to move down the escarpment, from Baal Bone Point and Pantoneys Crown around to Point Anderson and Green Gully, towards containment lines," the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) said in an alert on Monday morning.

"Crews are positioned in the area and will be able to respond rapidly to any spot fires that may occur due to embers."
The RFS said there was no immediate threat to properties, but residents in the area should review their Bushfire Survival Plan.
"If you intend to leave early you should review your triggers for leaving early," the RFS said.
The Gospers Mountain fire continues to burn on multiple fronts and conditions are predicted to deteriorate during the coming days with expected high temperatures and strong winds.
Meanwhile, there is a total fire ban on Monday, December 30 in Lithgow and across the Central Ranges.

Greater Lithgow area (including Lithgow, Marrangaroo, Ben Bullen, Newnes, Wolgan Valley, Capertee, Glen Davis)
- There is still active fire in the area.
- Fire has passed through Lithgow and Angus Place, Wolgan and Newnes Junction areas. Be aware of the danger of falling trees and branches.
- Crews are patrolling in the Hartley Vale area to monitor any change in fire activity.
- Heavy plant machinery are working around Capertee, Glen Davis and Glen Alice to establish containment lines.
- Monitor conditions and know what you will do if the fire threatens.
- Follow your Bushfire Survival Plan and take advice from firefighters in the area.
- If you are in the Hartley Vale area you should also check the Grose Valley fire update.
- If you are in the Bogee and Glen Alice areas should also check the Kerry Ridge fire update.
Bells Line of Road including areas between Clarence to Bilpin
- Fire has passed through this area and continues to burn on both sides of the Bells Line of Road. Be aware of the danger of falling trees and branches.
- Crews are patrolling and extinguishing hotspots in the Clarence and Dargan areas.
- Monitor conditions and know what you will do if the fire threatens.
- Follow your Bushfire Survival Plan and take advice from firefighters in the area.
Lower Grose Valley, Mountain Lagoon and Blaxland Ridge including Kurrajong Heights, Kurrajong, Bowen Mountain and Yarramundi
- Firefighters have continued work to establish and strengthen containment lines.
- Monitor conditions and know what you will do if the fire threatens.
- Follow your Bushfire Survival Plan and take advice from firefighters in the area.
Macdonald Valley including Lower Macdonald, Upper Macdonald, Perrys Crossing
- Fire has passed through this area. Be aware of the danger of falling trees and branches.
- Fire is burning along the ridgeline, this is bringing an increase in smoke and fire activity.
- Monitor changing conditions and know what you will do if the fire threatens.
- Follow your Bushfire Survival Plan and take advice from firefighters in the area.
