The students delivered more than 100 Christmas food hampers to St Vincent de Paul in Dubbo on Tuesday, which is the most the school has ever donated according to St John's year 12 coordinator Jo Hornby.
The hampers will be distributed to local families who may be facing financial struggles this Christmas by the volunteers at St Vincent de Paul Dubbo. The volunteers can identify which local families the hampers should go to, therefore ensuring the hampers are going to families who require the extra support.
"Each hamper is valued at around $75," Ms Hornby said.
"St John's College Dubbo donate Christmas hampers to St Vincent de Paul every year, it's something we just always do, but this year's number of hampers is a record for us, we have over a hundred, which is the most we have ever donated in one year."
