Alissa Cubby, 30, stole socks, shampoo, tissues and cleaning wipes from Woolworths' Riverdale supermarket at the end of July.
About a fortnight later, court documents revealed Cubby took two blocks of chocolate from the BP service station on Erskine Street without paying for them.
At the end of August Cubby stole vodka and rum from BWS at Orana Mall.
In early September she took more alcohol from Liquourland in Dubbo Square.
Police arrested Cubby on September 4.
The thief pleaded guilty to eight charges which included six counts of shoplifting and two counts of larceny.
Cubby was convicted and sentenced to 12 months in jail when she appeared in Dubbo Local Court on Monday. Magistrate Gary Wilson imposed a six-month non-parole period.
With time already served taken into account, Cubby is due to be released from jail on March 2.
