Dubbo 4x4 is the new home of Ironman 4x4, which has a range of products for four-wheel driving, camping and outdoor needs.
The Clancy Automotive group, a distributor of the brand for more than a decade, took the step to open the store, acquiring a premises in Bourke Street for the purpose.
On Saturday the team hosted a grand opening of the "modern, state-of-the-art interactive" showroom, and reported it attracted about 300 people.
Dubbo 4x4 director Greg Brimble said they were meeting the demand of providing a first-class facility for four-wheel-drive enthusiasts and outdoor fanatics.
"We are very aware of the current drought and the community has told us that there is the need of another supplier and we want to be set and ready for when the conditions do improve," he said.
"We have faith in the community regardless of the drought."
Dubbo 4x4 has opened with four full permanent team members and Mr Brimble said they were "anticipating strong growth on the back of the community support for our product".
