The launch will be held at the DRTCC on Sunday from 1pm. DRTCC manager Linda Christof said more than 300 people who wanted a good hour of entertainment would be attending.
While she was tight-lipped, Ms Christof gave a few hints about what people can expect from the next season.
"There are some great classical ballets coming and a really pertinent drama that will relate to those living in regional communities with our current climate. Those that love big bands and swing will also be in for a real treat," she said.
"And that's all I'll say. You'll have to come to the season launch on Sunday for the full reveal."
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
Ms Christof said while the theatre subscribers were always the first to snag their seats to the season launch, tickets were available to everyone.
"We find a lot of the general public want to have a snapshot of what's coming next year. They can wait for the booklet to come out but they find if they come to the season launch they're getting extra tidbits that you won't read about and it helps to make their decision about what to see next year," she said.
As well as showing some of the shows heading to Dubbo, the season launch will also reveal the theme for 2020.
The Friends and Buddies Club will also continue in the new year.
"There's one lady that's part of the Friends and Buddies Club. She moved from Orange and she's now a theatre usher because she loved the theatre experience so much," Ms Christof said.
"She's really integrated into the Dubbo community. I see her at yoga, I see her at the aquatic centre, she's volunteering at Taronga Western Plains Zoo and said the people in Dubbo were lovely."
Tickets to the season launch can be purchased through the DRTCC website or the box office.
