A smoke haze is visible across the region, but it has not been caused by any local fire NSW RFS district officer Peter Fothergill says.
"Any smoke you'd see is not from that [Narromine fire], it's from the Gospers Mountain fire or the fires up north," he said.
Mr Fothergill said the fire burning in Macs Reserve off Warren Road at Narromine was inadvertently lit by campers.
"We get quite a few ignitions there from campers," he said.
"This one got into a stump and is burning underground and we'll be patrolling it for a few days."
This fire is currently at 'advice' level with people in the region urged to visit Fires Near Me to stay up-to-date.
Mr Fothergill said residents in the Orana region should be prepared for a long, hot bushfire season ahead and they should download and prepare a Bushfire Survival Plan.
"You just need to be prepared and make sure you've got a plan," he said.
Meanwhile a low to severe intensity heatwave is predicted for the Orana region from Wednesday.
