The Bultje Street business opened on November 17 in 2009.

Founder Paula Anderson started the business to fuel busy commuters with espresso coffee and snacks on-the-go.

She said since opening it had been a "stressful, fun, worrying, exhilarating, nerve-wracking and stupendous" experience, where they had both made people smile and occasionally disappointed them.
Ms Anderson said a huge congratulations to everyone involved in the business and a bigger thank you to all the customers who had been part of the journey.
To celebrate its 10th birthday, The Fast Lane Drive-Thru Coffee is giving away $10,000 to one lucky customer. Anyone who spends $10 or more at a site is eligible to enter with entries closing at the end of the month.
